Before I was on TeamUp, I had spreadsheets, which I had to juggle, and occasionally I would miss payments. And then six months later realize that someone hadn’t paid me and then it was too late to ask them. I would absolutely recommend it, it just keeps everything on the straight and narrow and helps you keep track of everything.

I'm Jane, I am a Pilates teacher from Cambridge in the UK, and I run a studio in Cambridge called Ease Pilates where we teach reformer Pilates. TeamUp was recommended to me by a Pilates teacher who found it was useful for saving time, admin time, which basically teachers and a lot of fitness instructors in general finds that they want to spend more time teaching and less time chasing up payments and so on and so forth so I thought that would be a good idea for me too.

I use TeamUp for everything from enrollment forms, which include any sort of medical issues that I might need to know about before I teach them, so that gives me the opportunity to chat to them about anything that I might need to know before the class or modifications I might need to make. We offer different sort of flexible memberships for my clients so they can pay me directly. I don't ever need to chase the payments, which is brilliant.

And I use the on-demand section as well, which is the recorded videos so that my members can watch recorded videos of me. I even have a little store for setting Pilates socks and some props and things like that to serve my clients. I use it for managing my finances. It says it gives simple reports on how much money it brought in that month, so you can just keep track of how much you're earning and then use that to make projections about the business and also makes it making your tax returns easier. When you have a class register you know who's coming, but also if you need to change the teacher or the time of the class or anything like that, you can just bring up all the email addresses of everybody who's attending, so you've got that there too.

I have integrated with MailChimp so that I can send out my weekly newsletter to all of my clients. I just use it for absolutely everything. I use it for Zoom classes, it sets up my online classes for me creates the Zoom links books, books people in or they can do that by themselves and sends them a little reminder before their classes.

I would absolutely recommend TeamUp to any other studios or freelance fitness professionals. Because it just gives you that security of knowing that your finances are in place. Saves loads of time. Customers love it. There's nothing not to like really.
