Why Ru Pinkerton recommends TeamUp for its flexibility and ease of use

It's also a lot cheaper than quite a lot of the other competitors who are trying to do a lot of things. In my opinion, we've tried them and they've all fallen short and TeamUp does everything that it needs to do. And then if you need to do something extra, it's so handy for being able to do that.

My name's Ru (owner of X-Fit Scotland). I've been coaching for the last 10 years. And I've had my own gym for the last seven years, roughly. For the whole part, the whole time of having the gym, we've been using TeamUp. We maybe changed partly for a year, and we used another kind of competitor, but they kept on raising the prices. And the only reason that we actually left TeamUp was the integrations weren't great. But with the Zapier integrations that are in there now, we've been able to add in a lot more value to make it personalised.

TeamUp is amazing for us because we run a few different memberships. We've got a few different coaches and for us being able to manage them better with the booking, being able to manage payments, being able to have everything all in one place is super, super handy for us because previously it is difficult handling a diary when everybody wants to change their times, and want to move about and trying to hold policies can sometimes be quite difficult when you're having a conversation with somebody every time.

Whereas if somebody just knows there's a 24-hour cancellation and they can't book in because of that's just the way it works. You can almost just use the app as an escape, which is really good for us as coaches because sometimes we'll maybe give them benefit, but that's really good because the app sets rules and we can stick to them, which really helps with us managing over like 120, 130 members, which is really handy for us

I would 100% recommend using TeamUp. It's super easy to use, and super intuitive. Really easy to transfer everything in, and once you get everything set up, you can pick what payments you can want to do accept. Whether it's cash, whether it's your direct debits, it's been super helpful for us.

It's also a lot cheaper than quite a lot of the other competitors who are trying to do a lot of things. In my opinion, we've tried them and they've all fallen short and TeamUp does everything that it needs to do. And then if you need to do something extra, it's so handy for being able to do that.
