POLE COURSES - Our Specialty at Fly Girls. Signature Classes: Meditative Stretching, Pole Tricks and Flow - 18+
This class is held in a warm, dim red-lit room with relaxing sounds. It lasts for four weeks, with 60-minute sessions that engage the whole body (Mind, Body, and Spirit). The first 12 minutes are a warm-up using movements from Vinyasa Yoga, Pilates, and Meditation. Then you’ll learn pole tricks and flow, creating combinations of the movements you've practiced. Each month features a new sequence, with a surprise twist introduced in the last week. You can stay in your current level or discuss moving up with your teacher in person. This class will teach you how to become a free mover and pole trickster.

We call it Pole Flow because the tricks move smoothly together. We start with calming warmups to relax your mind and body before the new experience. Breathing is essential; without connecting to your breath, you can't feel your true self. Good breath control makes pole tricks easier. Graceful dancers have a calm inner connection to their breath and body. It takes time and practice to feel comfortable, but eventually, everything clicks, allowing for more fluid movement.

This class is for women only and focuses on building confidence in our bodies. We'll explore our sensuality and sexuality, allowing ourselves to enjoy being women. It's a supportive space where everyone is respected, and we believe that women thrive when they support each other.

Concerned about your body size or fitness level? Don't worry, pole dancing is for everyone. There are many moves you can try without inverting right away. Concentrate on your own pole journey and appreciate your personal progress!

We do make exceptions for humans who identify as female wanting to explore their femininity in the course classes. This has to be approved by a 1:1 meeting with Crystal the owner of Fly Girls before booking onto class.

What to wear: Choose comfortable clothing, preferably shorts and fitness tops. You don’t have to take your shirt off, but exposing your biceps can be helpful. Bike shorts are great for beginners as they cover more of the hips while still showing the knees and skin above them. You need skin contact with the pole, so the more skin you expose, the better. You can change your outfit when you arrive if needed.

If you have sensitive knees, buy knee pads from Amazon or a sports store. They usually cost £15 or less, and volleyball knee pads work well.

This class runs monthly, so you’ll have the same group of girls each month learning together. Over time, classes will progress together, helping to build lasting friendships.

No refunds after booking a class. If you miss a weekly class, you can attend a makeup lesson in a sister classroom (same level). For example, if you can't attend Monday 6-7 PM, you may join Monday 8-9 PM or Wednesday 7-8 PM within the same four-week period. To schedule a makeup class, log into the Goteamup app and sign out of your original class, then email FlyGirlsFitness@gmail.com to reschedule.

In December, there will be a three-week course because of the Winter Holiday Closure. Members can attend a Winter Workshop on either Sunday, December 8th or Sunday, December 15th to make up for missing one of the four classes if they choose.

- Cancellation Fee: There’s a £50 fee to cancel early.
- Backdating Charges: If you’ve been paying a lower rate (e.g., £10 per class instead of £12.50), you’ll be charged the difference. The savings of £2.50 per class (since £12.50 - £10 = £2.50) adds up to £10 savings per month. if the package was a four drop-in class package.
Over two months, this would total £20 (£10 for each month).
So, to cancel early, you'd owe:
£50 cancellation fee
£20 for the backdated difference in class prices
Total = £70 to cancel.

Also, cancellations are handled via Stripe, so Fly Girls can’t easily process them directly.

    This membership bills every month. The first payment is due on the membership's start date. This membership entitles the purchaser to a full or partial discount on events/classes offered by the business. Some classes/events may be excluded from this membership. Unless otherwise noted, this membership is non-transferable. Your payment details will be securely stored in our system for the duration of the membership. This membership cannot be cancelled early. The full 4 months must be purchased to receive the rate listed.
