This provides you a pack of three sessions, to be used within 3 weeks.

The trauma release process takes place over three sessions, with at least one sleep cycle in between sessions.

Birth Awareness & Trauma Release

A simple and effective process to lift heavy feelings and symptoms.

The 3 Step Rewind Method in Bristol is a gentle and safe way to help you lift any heavy feelings and symptoms that can remain after a difficult or traumatic experience. We support fertility, birth, postnatal, breastfeeding, or any other trauma or phobia.

It is based on practices of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), using visualisations to enable you to re-encode the memory of the experience. You retain the wisdom and let go of any heavy emotions or symptoms. It can help with any automatic response, where we would like more choice in how we respond. We focus on the future, helping you to move forward feeling lighter with more positivity.

How do you know if you have trauma?

This can look like many things for different people, but here are some of the common things we hear from people suffering with birth trauma:

Signs of the suffering can include:

panic attacks
nightmares
flashbacks
anger and irritability
numbness
tearfulness
avoidance of all reminders of the trauma
problems in relationships
feelings of failure and more.

Does it fill you with fear?

If you are pregnant and feel worried, scared or overwhelmed about the rest of pregnancy, giving birth or life afterwards, then these sessions are also for you. Pregnancy is a great time to work through some of our patterns, limiting beliefs or fears. A really helpful extra in everyone’s birth & baby preparation would be including these sessions.

In all these cases, the Birth Awareness 3 Step Process can really help; just as it has helped hundreds and hundreds of others before you. 100% of people say it is beneficial and 30% say transformative.

About the Sessions

Sessions can be done in-person or via zoom and will be held over 3 sessions, scheduled at your convenience. Usually we recommend holding these within one or two weeks, or at the minimum with one sleep cycle between each session.

First session (1 hour) – you will have the opportunity to share your experience if you wish (please know that you do not have to share your experience with me for this process to work). I will then take you through a Guided Relaxation. This is to help settle a frazzled or stressed nervous system; which is often needed when people have experienced trauma as the system is still running its stress response. After the session you will be given the recording of the relaxation to listen to in between sessions and whenever you need in the future.



Second session (1 hour) – we begin with chat to see how you are doing before I take you through another Guided Relaxation, where this time you will remember the event in a specific way whilkst you are in control and feel safe. This is when the experience will be re-encoded in the mind. You will still remember the event, retaining your wisdom and key learnings, but by re-filing the memory you will release and neutralise the heavy feelings symptoms attached. This is powerful and a very effective process for all kinds of trauma, as demonstrated extensively by its creators when used with post-war veterans suffering with complex PTSD. At all times you are in control of the process.



Third session (45mins) – we focus on the future and how life might be like, without these difficult feelings or traumatic symptoms. What would it be like to move forward free of all this? You will also have a recording of this guided relaxation helping you move forward in life feeling less trauma, and feeling lighter, more positive, with a greater sense of calm, ease and confidence.

It is important to note that this is not therapy and we are not therapists. We are simply taking you through a very clever meditation to help your mind process and re-file the experiences that you have had. This can give you more space and help you feel much better moving forward. Together we can clear these dominating patterns and feelings and focus on the kind of future we would rather have happen.

12 hours notice must be given to cancel or rearrange a session, failure to do so will incur a £15 charge.
