ID Program
Here’s the ID (Individual Design) Program at Catalyst, broken down into its finer details:

– £249 per month for 4 x 30–minute sessions, and access to open gym (excluding group times)
– We use the TrueCoach mobile app for PT. It provides better 1:1 communication with you, and it syncs with MyFitnessPal in case you choose the nutrition accountability option (which brings the price to £269).
– You get homework after each session, you then visit the gym to do the homework during open gym or before/after class (if space permits), and track your results through TrueCoach.
– Every quarter, one of the 30 minute sessions is used for a body stat assessment and goal review.

FAQ

“What kind of workouts do you do in ID?”
The workouts are personalized and linked to a client’s stated goals. We focus on success and will use any workouts that get clients closer to their goals.

“Do clients get 24/7 access to the gym outside of the private sessions?”
We’re lucky enough to have Open Gym space at select hours in the day so we can give all clients access to this when the main gym space is busy with class times. You will need to pre-book these slots on line before attending to guarantee your space.

“Is this like ‘online programming’?”
Very much so. In fact, many of our clients do their homework at other local globo gyms instead of in our space. They only come to Jersey CrossFit for their appointments. And that’s fine. Most of the 24/7 globo gyms have all the equipment you need.

“Is this for me?”
It’s not functional fitness competitors or people looking for “the next cool thing.” It’s anyone who need the combination of a flexible schedule and quick, efficient workouts.

“What is the first step?”
Upon sign up you will be setup on our mobile app and then booked in for your first session. Here you will meet your coach in person for a consultation, body stats and short assessment.

Sooner or later, most people in a group program will reach a point where one-on-one attention is required to address sticking points.

Skill sessions are critical to helping you overcome fears and frustrations and critical to helping you put your mark on your training progression. Time spent outside the group setting can be a pivotal game changer but only if you approach it the correct way.

This one-on-one coaching session is a high-value proposition. Yes, it’s going to be more intense in many ways than throwing down with buddies in the 8 a.m. class. It’s much more fun to do 30 clean and jerks for time next to friends, for example, than to fine-tune technique in front of one trainer. But the session provides a chance to really work on sticking points and create much more efficient movements that you can transition back into your group training sessions.

Your coach may need to video your movements to review during the session. After the session your 1:1 coach will also demonstrate exercises that will help you and assign homework via TrueCoach app (to be done during open gym time, or before/after class if space permits).

Cancellation Policy: We require 24 hours cancellation notice prior to session start time. If under 24 hours the cancelling client simply loses their session.

Even our personal trainers coach and train each other. Everyone needs a coach! Your path to self-betterment starts with an assessment: what are you already doing right? How can we use your strengths to leverage improvement…how can we help you get used to success? Key to the perfection of technique and effective scaling of workouts is the Coach.

If you are two people with similar capabilities and goals, or even two people who just want to train together, you can be put in the same training slot with a private coach.

Ideally, both people will follow the same training plan between sessions (including “homework")

By choosing this option each member can save money and often members work harder when they had training mates ;)

The principles of small-group training are the same as 2:1 semi–private training. Here we can group together individuals whose needs vary by degree, not kind. The workouts will address general instead of specific needs, and gives you the chance to train with friends and family.

Cancellation Policy: We require 24 hours cancellation notice prior to session start time. If one client in a 3:1 session cancels at the last minute, the other two can still attend. The cancelling client simply loses their session.

45 Min Mobility Session + Homework
Starts on the date of purchase. Valid for 12 weeks.
Taken by a qualified L1 CrossFit Mobility Coach for 45 minutes. In these sessions you will learn how to assess your own mobility issues and be given the tools to fix poor movement patterns or mobility dysfunctions. For those with injuries or mobility issues that affect your workouts, we will discuss appropriate modifications or scaling to give you a great work out while preventing further harm. The time will be spent on treatment including; manual work (soft tissue and joint mobilization), voodoo flossing, activation techniques and exercise/mobility prescription as needed.

After the session you will be given a mobility prescription as Homework via TrueCoach that will be specific to your needs to be done in your own time.

Want to throw a CrossFit Kids birthday party for your child? We offer 90 min events for all ages for up to 15 kids/teens! Each party consists of 60 min of age appropriate activities, followed by a half-hour during which the parents can do food/cake and kids can do a little controlled free play afterwards. While we have refrigerators for drinks/beer, tables, chairs and plenty of room for parents to hang out, birthday cakes and any other food you’d like to serve is to be provided by the parents.

Endurance Club - 1 Month Saver
Designed for intermediate to competitive athletes, this is a periodised weekly endurance program run by an experienced endurance competitor for anyone wanting to optimize their aerobic capacity.

The sessions run weekly and is programmed in 12 week cycles focusing on a specific goal e.g. 5k, half marathon, marathon. We also will design a training program individualised to you that starts with moderate aerobic workouts and progresses into race-pace simulated intervals.

The program will give proper warm ups and technique drills to get you prepped for your training, as well as personalied programming for sessions to be carried out in your own time! Our goal is to efficiently develop your speed, stamina, and endurance.

The Gym consists of a 6,000 sq. ft. location in the heart of town in St Helier, Jersey. The facility includes Male & Female Changing Rooms with 3 Showers in each, a PT Studio, Cafe on-site, a welcome Lounge, multi-story car park behind gym, and much more.
