Strong Youth
We want our kids to grow up feeling strong, confident, capable, and supportive of each other. In these classes we will focus on exactly that!
Over 8 weeks girls in Grade 6+ will work with a trainer who will introduce them to exercise and a gym setting, working to safely discover what their bodies can do, while having fun and supporting each other.
Our goal is to create a empowering and supportive environment, to help start them off with a healthy relationship with exercise and their bodies.
There are a lot of changes girls go through in their tween/teen years - but one that doesn’t get talked about about enough is the decline in coordination and balance, knee instability, and the importance of strength training!
You may have noticed these things in your teen. It’s entirely normal, and a result of the growth spurt and change in their body angles and composition experienced during this time.
Strengthening around their joints, focusing on biomechanics and learning good movement patterns helps!
Our Girls Strength program is designed with this in mind, and is held in our empowering and supportive environment to start girls off with a healthy relationship with exercise and their bodies
