Post Natal Pilates & Well-being

Are you a new mum who’d like to get back to exercise? Or supporting someone who is?

My Post Natal Pilates & Well-being course is back but it‘s got better

It’s more than Pilates. It’s a progressive programme of exercise taught both in person and online with space for you to connect with other new families.

3 ways this progressive #postnatal programme will help you:

1. You’ll get a weekly, Pilates class where you can bring baby along.

These are specialist Pilates classes designed to help you with common post pregnancy and birth physical issues and concerns such as:

Abdominal separation (Diastasis Recti);

Pelvic floor weakness/dysfunction (especially as a result of birth intervention);

C-section scars and weakness; and

How to return to exercise safely after pregnancy and birth.

Each week we’ll also spend time helping you to mobilise and move so you leave each session feeling more energised and like you’ve had a mini break for you.

2. You’ll get the tools to help you return to exercise safely, with clear, weekly class structures and optional modules (return to running or pelvic floor rehabilitation).

Here's what you'll learn:

How your body has changed and how to get back to exercise safely.

How to adapt and progress Pilates moves and which ones are best for a new mum.

Which strength moves are best for new mums and how to progress them.

How to perform pelvic floor exercises and how to build strength and confidence.

PLUS Karen will perform abdominal checks, you’ll get to meet other new parents in the area* and you’ll get mini exercise sessions to fit in at home, on your own.

3. You get FREE expert advice

The course is run by Karen Laing, post natal expert with 20+ years experience as a pre and post natal exercise and Pilates instructor and women’s health writer.

You’ll also get to access advice from pelvic health physiotherapists; running and conditioning performance coaches; and Karen.
