The biggest selling point for me was that you were going to go into my current booking system and move all the clients over for me. You were going to help me move all the payments from Stripe into TeamUp and that alone sold me on the idea of painless transfer from one system to another.

I’m Barrie (owner of Great in 8), I run a fitness and wellbeing business mainly an outdoor fitness in Snowmen, we’re about 25 miles north of London and I’m originally from Glasgow, Scotland as you can probably tell from my voice. I got into the fitness industry about 14 years ago. I was really just trying to finance it for myself. I then started to work as a personal trainer and then eventually went to doing the outdoor groups, boot camps, but non-military, with music and fun. So big groups of people in the park, not far here from the office and it’s mainly focused on helping people that either haven’t exercised for a long time or have a fear of exercise. We basically help them build their confidence and exercise more regularly. It’s based on community. We’re a community first and foremost, exercise comes second.

We obviously had lockdown because of the coronavirus and every time we closed and we reopened we got bigger and bigger and it was more for me to get a bit more organised also because we have 150 members in different memberships.

We were first using Acuity which was some scheduling software and then I basically said, I would like a straight plugin for memberships so it’d be easy. I discovered TeamUp and it seemed like a sort of solution that focused on everything, payment processing, member management, and then it ticked all the boxes I was looking for.

The biggest selling point for me was that you were going to go into my current booking system and move all the clients over for me. You were going to help me move all the payments from Stripe into TeamUp and that alone sold me on the idea of painless transfer from one system to another.

And the main thing was just the membership points. A few different membership points and just the ability to check attendance. I just basically ñole the finances of it really that was it. But probably one of my favourite things is the support because you go if you go to websites and this chat feature comes up and it gets in your way and stuff, but with TeamUp, because I'm learning a new system and I'll get any questions, I put a question in there and it comes back really quickly, the support that's probably been the thing that’s been most exceptional.

It's just the level of support for somebody learning the system. That's probably the biggest selling point in it. Even they'll do that for, to manage memberships and the accounting part of it. But yeah, just the support you get has been exceptional. The fitness business is filled with people like me that want to get into fitness, but they’re not an accountant, they’ve not run a business before, they lack structure, so I would recommend TeamUp to anyone like myself that just wants one place where you can see your finances, your memberships, your retention, it takes away a lot of anxiety, and it's basically a business in one place.

Mostly the communication with the clients, cause they didn't go into the previous booking system, but your system is seamless to use, which I like using it’s good for me to use, but the most important part is the client experience and for the clients to see that this is actually easy to use and they like using it. That’s probably the best thing about it. If you run a fitness business and have lots of clients that’s awesome, that’s a line up it definitely can get the membership that membership, price points and stuff, and yeah, I'd recommend it to anyone.
