And I've never looked back, really, because it's been really helpful in terms of automating processes. And admin on my side is quite light now. It peaks, you know, before the beginning of a new block of classes as a bit of admin to be done there. But in the long run, it really saves me time and effort to use TeamUp.

Why I switched my Pilates business to TeamUp

My name is Claire Seager and the name of my business is Claire Seager Pilates. I am a teacher and for the last year on and off, but mostly on the I've been working out of my small home studio where I'm sitting now and I've been Zooming my classes to my clients. I have had a brief period of going back into face to face classes, and now we're on the cusp of going back to face to face classes. But I will continue to have a hybrid of in-person and Zoom classes from my Pilates clients. Our Prime Minister recently announced the closure of things like face to face exercise classes, so I quite rapidly had to change from meeting people in person to meeting people online. That involves getting to grips with Zoom quite quickly.

One of my Pilates teacher friends had been using TeamUp to manage their in-person bookings for quite some time. I was a client of hers, so I used it as a customer and I also spoke to her about how well it was working for her to use as a sort of management tool to take payments, bookings, etc. She rated it really highly. So I took advantage of the TeamUp free trial period. So when immediately locked down occurred I started using TeamUp to take payments to integrate with Zoom and be an automatic sender of the Zoom link to everybody. And the free  trial went really well. I was really happy with the functionality. I was really happy with the support I got. Technical wise, there was quite a heavy investment all my time initially to learn how to use the system and to set up all my classes and how the classes will be paid for, etc. But that was support available from TeamUp to make that bit easier. And then it just took off from there.

And I've never looked back, really, because it's been really helpful in terms of automating processes. And admin on my side is quite light now. It peaks, you know, before the beginning of a new block of classes as a bit of admin to be done there. But in the long run, it really saves me time and effort to use TeamUp. When the golf courses and the tennis courts in the UK, I recorded a video especially aimed at Pilates for golfers and Pilates for tennis players because there are quite specific movements that can help prepare them for their sport. So I recorded that and I popped up in the TeamUp on-demand section and I have people now downloading, paying for it, no interaction with me. It's just an automated process. So they pay and they can use the video for golfers and tennis players as often as they like. So I have dabbled with the on-demand functionality, but basically I just really like the way that it keeps my accounting in one place.

So if I need to know my income or if I need to prepare my documents for paying tax, all the information is all in the same place. And the integration resume is really helpful because there's no need to send out resume links that all just happens automatically. I can see quite quickly who's in the class. I can swap people into and out of the classes and I can change the way that they pay. So it really works well for me. I've been really grateful. It's really enabled me to streamline the admin side. So thanks to you guys and everybody that I've spoken to at TeamUp, you know I have occasionally booked a phone call or I have used the chat facility and you guys have always been really responsive and taken on board my ideas. I guess you've had a whole lot of demands placed on you in terms of what we want from you.

You know, I discuss things with people and they've been like, oh, yes, we could do that. I'll speak to the developers. So that's a really nice response to have, actually, rather than ere, as you sometimes get, you know, with a call centre or something. It's a worthwhile investment in terms of how much time and effort it will save you. TeamUp has really streamlined my business processes. TeamUp enables me to offer a combination of online live-streamed, on-demand and in-person classes.
