Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and empowering style of yoga developed in the 1980s by Larry Schultz, inspired by the traditional Ashtanga system of K. Pattabhi Jois. Designed to “get you there faster,” Rocket Yoga removes some of the rigidity of the traditional sequence and encourages creativity, accessibility, and play, all while building strength, mobility, and confidence.
In this workshop, join Rob with a brief discussion exploring the roots and philosophy behind Rocket Yoga, how it evolved, and how you can approach the practice in a sustainable and empowering way.
We will then move into a 75-minute practice that includes focused drills to build strength, refine technique, and support arm balances, inversions, and transitions — giving you tools you can continue to explore in your own practice.
Recommended vinyasa flow experience required. Not suggested for new to yoga practitioners
