Terms and Conditions
Membership Terms & Conditions
This membership is charged as a one-time payment and is non-refundable. It becomes active on the date of purchase and is valid only for that day. Any unused entitlement expires automatically at the end of the day of purchase. To attend on another day, a new Drop-In / Visitor Pass must be purchased.
Veras Academy Luxembourg reserves the right to refuse membership or participation in any class or programme. Such decisions are rare and will only be be made by the Academy Owner or Head Instructor where necessary. Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
1. Failure to adhere to these Terms & Conditions, Academy policies or guidance; abusive, threatening, derogatory or defamatory behaviour; excessive foul language; the use of excessive or dangerous force; intentionally attempting to injure another member, coach or staff member; consistently arriving late for class; failure to follow the Academy booking procedures; disrupting the positive experience of other members; poor personal hygiene; bullying or harassment; sexual misconduct; or attending the Academy under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Participation may be refused or terminated immediately in such circumstances.
2. Drop-In / Visitor Passes must be paid for in full before participation. No access to classes or Academy facilities will be granted until payment has been received.
3. Promotional offers and incentives apply only where specifically stated by Veras Academy Luxembourg.
4. All visitors must complete the required registration, accept the Academy Terms & Conditions and policies, and complete the Veras Academy Luxembourg liability waiver before participating.
5. Drop-In / Visitor Passes are valid only for the date purchased, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or extended.
6. Drop-In / Visitor Passes cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Seminars & Special Events
1. Veras Academy Luxembourg offers seminars, camps, competitions and social events for the benefit and enjoyment of its members and visitors where applicable. Unless otherwise stated, attendance is subject to availability.
2. Seminar and event places are only confirmed once full payment has been received and may be subject to booking deadlines.
Uniform
1. All members and visitors attending Gi classes must wear the Official Veras Academy White Gi together with the Official Veras Academy Blue Rashguard underneath. Members and visitors attending No-Gi classes must wear the Official Veras Academy No-Gi uniform (rashguard, shorts and spats). Veras Academy Luxembourg reserves the right to refuse access to classes and/or training facilities if the uniform policy is not followed.
2. Official Veras Academy uniforms and equipment are available for purchase or hire directly from Veras Academy Luxembourg.
Code of Conduct for Members & Visitors
1. All participants must maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, including short, clean fingernails and toenails, and a freshly washed, clean uniform appropriate for each training session.
2. Remain off the mats unless otherwise instructed by a coach or instructor.
3. Outdoor footwear is strictly prohibited on the training mats.
4. All participants are expected to treat coaches, staff and fellow members with respect at all times and help maintain a safe, professional and positive training environment.
Code of Conduct for Parents
1. Encourage and support your child’s development.
2. Remain off the mats unless otherwise instructed by a coach or instructor.
3. Refrain from discussing or criticising other people’s children or comparing their strengths and weaknesses.
4. Support your child by allowing our coaches and instructors to teach without interruption. Should you have any questions or feedback, please speak with a member of staff after the class has finished.
5. Veras Academy Luxembourg reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation where a parent or guardian repeatedly disrupts classes or negatively affects the Academy’s learning environment.
