Let my hands care for your C-section scar and whole body with targeted treatment and restorative touch.
During your 60-minute session, I will begin with a full assessment of your breathing patterns, followed by an evaluation of your scar and the surrounding area. From there, I’ll use a combination of massage, soft tissue therapy, instrument-assisted techniques, and specialised scar work to help release restrictions, improve circulation, and support positive change in your scar tissue.
Even if your scar feels “fully healed,” it’s impossible to know what’s happening beneath the surface without proper assessment and hands-on treatment.
This treatment is suitable for anyone who has had their 12-week post C-section check, whether your scar is a few months old or 20, 30, or even 40 years old.
What to expect
Before your appointment, you’ll receive a pre-treatment health questionnaire. This includes details about your scar history, pregnancy, and your reasons for booking. Reviewing this in advance allows me to fully prepare for your personalised treatment.
During your first session
Your 60-minute appointment will begin with an assessment of your breathing and how your abdomen, ribs, and back move. Scars can influence breathing patterns, which may have a wider impact on the body.
Once I understand how your body is functioning, I’ll begin treatment using a range of techniques such as massage, soft tissue release, and instrument-assisted work. Every treatment is tailored to you, as no two bodies or scars are the same.
This isn’t just about treating the scar itself. I’ll also work with the surrounding areas and the body as a whole. Scar healing is a global process—meaning a small C-section scar can influence movement and function throughout the entire body.
At the end of your session, you’ll be given simple, effective aftercare guidance to help continue the progress we’ve made together.
90 minute treatment
Suitable for well being/immune support and post-surgery recovery.
During your four one to one sessions with Julie she will do a thorough health screen; assessing your breathing, posture, movement and nutrition. She gets ‘hands on’. Using soft tissue therapy and other massage techniques, she will get to work on you! By the end of the 6 sessions (usually one per week) you will have the tools to self massage, do correct exercises and movements to continue to improve your core and pelvic floor and you will have the knowledge to eat for you to ‘heal from within’
Enjoy 6 weeks of education regarding your pelvic floor, core, nutrition and women’s fitness / wellness at whatever life phase you are in. The program is adaptable for virtually all women and is designed to ‘bring you back home’ to your amazing body with your pelvic and core health at the centre of our programme.
This amazing program consists of:
6 weeks of one to one sessions with Julie Holl (usually one per week) which is either exercise based or massage therapy based.
6 weeks of online videos and tutorials guiding you through breathing, pelvic floor and core work, mobilisers and stretches and workouts. As well as nutrition information to support your amazing body.
All the kit you need for the course (ball, massage balls, exercises bands and information booklet)

This monthly membership gives you access to: Monday 7pm at Ravensden Village Hall, Wednesday 7pm online Thursday 9.30am at My Studio in Begwary and online access to the Hot Strength exercise library. This bills monthly on the 1st of each month. It is a recurring payment unless cancelled.
