This massage is suitable for ladies who have had their 12 week post c-section check right the way through to 20, 30 or even 40 year old scars!

What will the treatment consist of;
You will be sent a pre-treatment health screen asking for details of your scar history, your reasoning for booking the treatment, your pregnancy information and more. I do this before I see you which because it will allow me to truly prepare for your bespoke treatment.
During your first treatment;
This appointment will be 60 minutes long and will start with me assessing your breathing, the way your tummy, ribs and back move as you breathe. Scars often affect your breathing patterns which can have a huge knock on affect through the rest of your body.
Once I have established what’s happening with your breath I will treat you using a variety of techniques including massage, soft tissue release and instrument assisted massage techniques. Every person is different so therefore every treatment is different.
I won’t just be treating your scar but also the area around your scar and wider. Scar healing truly is a ‘global’ issue meaning your small csection incision affects not just your lower abdomen but your whole body.
At the end of our treatment I will give you some homework to help continue the work I have started.
90 minute treatment
Suitable for well being/immune support and post-surgery recovery.
During your four one to one sessions with Julie she will do a thorough health screen; assessing your breathing, posture, movement and nutrition. She gets ‘hands on’. Using soft tissue therapy and other massage techniques, she will get to work on you! By the end of the 6 sessions (usually one per week) you will have the tools to self massage, do correct exercises and movements to continue to improve your core and pelvic floor and you will have the knowledge to eat for you to ‘heal from within’
Enjoy 6 weeks of education regarding your pelvic floor, core, nutrition and women’s fitness / wellness at whatever life phase you are in. The program is adaptable for virtually all women and is designed to ‘bring you back home’ to your amazing body with your pelvic and core health at the centre of our programme.
This amazing program consists of:
6 weeks of one to one sessions with Julie Holl (usually one per week) which is either exercise based or massage therapy based.
6 weeks of online videos and tutorials guiding you through breathing, pelvic floor and core work, mobilisers and stretches and workouts. As well as nutrition information to support your amazing body.
All the kit you need for the course (ball, massage balls, exercises bands and information booklet)

8 one to one sessions (exercise, rehab, soft tissue or release work as required)
This monthly membership gives you access to: Monday 7pm at Ravensden Village Hall Wednesday 7pm online Thursday 9.30am at Happy Body Project Wellness Centre, Wilstead and online access to the Hot Strength exercise library. This bills monthly on the 1st of each month. It is a recurring payment unless cancelled. Cancellation: If you wish to cancel please contact Julie at julie@happybodyproject.co.uk Because payments are taken automatically on the 1st of the month, I need 5 days notice (in the previous month) to cancel the Direct Debit payment, otherwise the payment will be taken.
