Our Parkour Classes involve a wide variety of games, activities, challenges and tasks for children to develop and embrace their movement potential, while also building core skills such as resilience, problem-solving, self-efficacy, teamwork and friendship.

Parkour and Athlete Academy Programme @ The Lab

Along side this, attend our athlete academy programme to allow your child to develop their strength, speed, power and functional movements to further improve their sporting performance.

Junior Athlete Academy Programme (JAAP)
Youth athletes come to the Lab and engage in fun warm up games, track drills to enhance their sprinting, practice plyometrics and power, and complete an age appropriate strength workout, all to help the athletes become sport ready.

Train once per week as part of our unique, coach led, junior athlete academy programme.

Youth athletes come down to the lab to play warm up games, engage in track drills to enhance their running economy, train plyometrics and power, and complete a strength workout, all to help the athletes become better at their sport.

1 Youth AAP + 1 Adult Open Gym Membership
This membership offers weekly Athlete Academy Programme for your young athlete, and a 1 hour pass to our state of the art strength and conditioning gym to train in whilst your athlete is in their AAP session.

Student Open Gym Membership
Student Gym Membership at our state-of-the-art strength and conditioning facility. Come down to The Lab and train whenever it suits you. Opening hours 0730-1900. Open to all students with a valid student ID. Valid Student ID to be shown upon arrival on first day at The Lab.

Activate Students and Staff Membership
FOR ACTIVATE STAFF AND STUDENTS ONLY. Active and regular checks for valid ACTIVATE student/staff cards/badges will complete randomly.

Train with a Coach
Train at our state-of-the-art facility whenever it suits you. Work with your own strength coach, powered by our strength code app (download available post purchase) to help track your progression, whilst allowing your coach to help you towards achieving your goals.

Off Peak Gym Membership
Off peak hours gym membership for a more cost effective option to train Come down to The Lab and train in our state-of-the-art facility. Alongside your gym membership, have your training aided with our App to track your progression and chose your own training programmes. Off peak hours include: 0930-1600 Monday - Friday

Prepare to Lift

PREPARE

Prepare to Lift is a 6-week beginner-friendly course designed to give you everything you need to start lifting confidently and safely in the gym. Perfect for anyone new to strength training, or those looking to improve their technique and get more from their workouts, this programme focuses on teaching the fundamental lifts and building strong movement foundations.

Each week includes a coach-led session where you’ll learn and practise proper form for key lifts such as the squat, deadlift, lunge, bench press, and overhead press, with expert guidance to ensure safe and effective technique. Alongside this, you’ll complete programmed practice workouts that are supervised by a coach, helping you consolidate your learning, build confidence, and develop consistency in your training.

Throughout the course, you’ll also gain a better understanding of training methods, recovery, and how to progress your lifting over time. Prepare to Lift is designed to move you beyond the typical one-off gym induction, giving you structured support, accountability, and the confidence to train independently and effectively. It’s the perfect first step into strength training and sets you up to progress into more advanced lifting classes and personalised programmes

  • Small group weekly coach-led sessions focused on teaching you how to lift safely, confidently, and with good technique

  • Open gym membership for the full 6 weeks, giving you the freedom to come in and practise the lifts you learned in your previous session

  • Practice workouts programmed to reinforce your learning and help build confidence in the gym

  • Ongoing coach guidance, support, and feedback throughout the course to help you progress and stay accountable

Once you’ve completed Prepare to Lift, there are several ways to continue progressing depending on your goals and the level of support you’d like:

  • Additional 4-Week Progression Course - Build on your foundations with a focused 4-week course covering plyometrics, power development, and Olympic lifting techniques. Ideal for those looking to improve athletic performance and develop more advanced lifting skills. £50 one-off payment

  • Gym with Coach Guidance - A more supported option for those who want continued structure and accountability. Includes full gym access, a personalised training programme delivered through an app, and monthly coach catch-ups to review progress and make sure you’re staying on track to achieve your goals. £55 per month

  • Open Gym Membership - Continue training independently with full access to the gym, giving you the space and equipment to keep practising and progressing at your own pace. £45 per month

Olympic Lifting & Plyometrics Course

PREPARE

The Plyometrics and Olympic Weightlifting course is a 4-week progression programme designed for those who have already built a solid lifting foundation and are ready to develop more explosive strength and athletic power. Perfect for individuals looking to improve performance, speed, and coordination, this course focuses on teaching the key principles of plyometric training and Olympic weightlifting movements.

Each week includes a coach-led session where you’ll learn and practise explosive movements such as jumps, bounds, and landing mechanics, alongside Olympic lifting variations including cleans, snatches, and their progressions. With expert coaching throughout, the focus is on developing proper technique, power output, and movement efficiency in a safe and structured environment.

Outside of the weekly coach-led sessions, you’ll also have access to the gym throughout the course to practise these movements independently, helping you reinforce your learning, build confidence, and continue progressing between sessions with ongoing coach support available when needed.
