This purchase is for 12x group Pilates reformer classes to be used over a 14 week period where classes are running on a usual schedule- see terms and conditions for more details.

Reformer pilates takes the principles and many exercises of Joseph Pilates matwork repertoire and adapts them to these spring loaded machines for a unique full body workout. The springs are used to challenge or aid you in the exercises and offer an opportunity to work with these fantastic machines rather than against them. Reformers are often used in rehabilitation of various injuries but you must have a client assessment if this is your intention, and potentially classes are initially not the best starting point for long term development and strengthening.

It is advisable but not essential that you have done some matwork Pilates before as the instructions and movements are different and perhaps more considered than many are used to- ideally you would combine both into your program. Level 1 classes will give you a taste of how we work, the basic exercises and the flow and control you will be looking to absorb in your movement, and you will be offered more challenging classes (Level 2 and beyond) if these are deemed appropriate by your instructor. Please ask which class if you are unsure, but it is always preferable to work at a lower level with increased quality- in time you will find the right level class for you.

Terms and Conditions

These sessions must be used within 14 weeks of your first class in which a full program of classes are running. Any unused classes will automatically expire and credit for classes are non-transferable between clients. If you are unable to use your session due to a cancellation on our part (holiday periods, illness with no cover or other issues), your time will be extended automatically.

If you are ill or feeling unwell, we would rather you cancel your session or appointment than risk passing this on to the class. Please cancel your place as soon as you are able and we will try to fill your space with a participant on the waitlist in order that you can be credited with the session you have missed.

Socks must be worn when using the equipment in the studio- we sell a basic pair (regular ankle/ trainer socks) and a pilates grip sock. You will be asked to remove shoes before entering the studio for hygiene reasons.

Only water can be consumed in the studio and please do bring a bottle.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of your class and wait in the reception area on the ground floor before being called up to your class, allowing previous participants to gather themselves and leave.
