Otley Ukulele Orchestra ONLINE ONLY 15th April-20th May 2024
Starts on April 15, 2024. Expires May 20, 2024.
Otley Ukulele Orchestra Online Only
Mondays 8pm-9:30pm

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Established in 2012, Otley Ukulele Orchestra is a fun and sociable group of ukulele players who love to play a whole range of songs together. Join us from the comfort of your own home as we live-stream to you on a Monday evening from Otley Social Club for an hour and a half of ukulele fun! All five sessions will be live-streamed via Zoom and available to watch up to 30 days after the session on Facebook if you are unable to tune in at the time of broadcast.

We'll learn and play a selection of songs over 4 weeks, learning chords, strumming techniques and tab/lead parts as we go. These sessions are suitable for ukulele players who know the open position chords (eg; A, Am, C, Dm, D, E7, F, G, G7) and are up for giving bar and moveable chords a go (eg; Bm, Bb). If you are new to the ukulele then perhaps our Newer Players session on a Tuesday or one-to-one lessons with us may be more suitable in the first instance.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR EACH SESSION:
You will receive PDF song sheets to download before the first session, accessible via GoogleDrive, which you can then access on a tablet/iPad or print off at home. We will play a different combination of songs each week so please bring all songs to every session. If you would like us to print a booklet for you for the five weeks, please email richard@bighooha.co.uk. There will be an additional cost of £5 for the booklet.

You will also need your ukulele!
