A 6 week course for beginners- ukulele skills for those new to the ukulele

In this six week course, we will build on our knowledge of and gain confidence using the chords C, Dm, F, G, G7 and Am, developing our strumming and learning new songs and new chords along the way. This course is ideal for people who have some experience of the above chords, but may have had some time off playing or would like to continue their learning in a small group setting. The Beginners Plus course is led by Jen - founder of Otley Ukulele Orchestra and Roundhay Ukulele Group. Jen has over 10 years ukulele teaching experience in group and 1-1 settings.

The course will be relaxed, informal and fun - no need to read music - everything will be explained and all resources are included in the course fee.

The course is limited to 15 people in person and unlimited numbers on-line. If you sign up for an in person place, you will also receive access to the Zoom session if you are unable to attend on the day for any reason. All course participants will also receive recordings of each session - so you can catch up in your own time and/or practice along to it as many times as you like in between sessions. Having two weeks in between sessions is perfect to get to grips with your practice and consolidate techniques and skills learned in class.
