    Terms and conditions
    This membership bills every month. The first payment is due on the membership's start date. Some classes/events may be excluded from this membership. Unless otherwise noted, this membership is non-transferable. Your payment details will be securely stored in our system for the duration of the membership.


    AUTOMATIC RENEWAL:

    All membership plans are paid by monthly direct debit (via GoCardless). The membership will automatically begin on the date of payment. Monthly membership payments will be taken each month at the same payment terms and billing date established at time of enrolment. Any changes to plan, or cancellation must be received 7 days in advance of next billing cycle. It is the members responsibility to monitor membership expiration and renewal dates.


    MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION:

    All memberships can be cancelled with 7 days notice. It is the members responsibility for cancelling the payments via their GoTeamUp account. There will be no refund issued once a payment has been charged to your credit/debit card.

    MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES AND DOWNGRADES:

    Memberships can be upgraded or downgraded without penalty. Memberships can be upgraded/downgraded at any point.

    Upgrades will take effect immediately with the new upgrade payment prorated for the remaining of the month.

    Downgrades will take effect from the date of your next payment.

    6. Select Membership Preference.
    7. Purchase.


    ATTENDING MORE SESSIONS THAN YOUR MEMBERSHIP:

    Single sessions can be purchased via your GoTeamUp app for a fee of £7 per session, but it is recommended to ‘Upgrade’ your membership for a more cost-effective option.


    MEMBERSHIP HOLDS AND ACCOUNT FREEZES:

    Members may put their membership on freeze or hold, for a period no less than thirty (30) days (or one calendar month), and for up to ninety (90) days (three calendar months) per calendar year. Notice of hold must be given to East Coast Fitness prior to the first day of the requested hold and will not be issued retroactively. All payments drawn prior to the requested hold will not be refunded. Clients will not be billed for frozen months, and billing will resume automatically upon end of the freeze period.


    REFUNDS:

    East Coast Fitness will not provide refunds retroactively for any cancellation requests. Membership cancellations can only be carried out by the member. Please do not send cancellation messages to our Facebook page or other social media sites. East Coast Fitness does not issue refunds if you do not use your membership, nor can you carry over sessions to the next month if you missed a class. No exceptions.


    KIDS POLICY:

    East Coast Fitness prides itself on being a kid friendly fitness facility but, unfortunately no dogs are allowed. In the interest of keeping everyone as safe and focused on their fitness as possible, we ask that you adhere to these policies regarding children. All children need to be able to sit unattended to the side of the workout area. Our coaches are not responsible for your children. If your child is disruptive please attend to them. Children are not allowed on the equipment at any time and must be outside of the workout area during classes. Please clean up after your children to include any snacks they may want to enjoy during the class.

    If you would like you Children to participate in the workouts there is an Under 16’s Membership for £10 per month. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating adult at all sessions.


    SAFETY:

    We reserve the right to scale or stop your training session if it is deemed unsafe.

    East Coast Fitness reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

    We reserve the right to cancel a client’s membership at any time for any reason.

    If your membership is terminated by East Coast Fitness for any reason; we will refund the balance or remainder of any prepaid, unused membership.
