This is our annual membership. You still pay month to month, just at our annual rate, which skips the 20% month-to-month premium. It also includes a complimentary Myzone heart rate monitor ($115 value). Billing runs on the 1st of each month. If you join partway through a month, your first payment is prorated to cover only the days left in that month, and that partial month doesn't count toward your 12. Your 12 full months start on the 1st after you join, which is why your plan shows 13 billing cycles: one partial month, then 12 full ones. If you join on the 1st, there's no partial month, so your membership is simply 12 months. You can cancel or change tiers at any time with 30 days' written notice before your next billing date. If you leave during your first 12 months, the only cost is the difference between the annual and month-to-month rate for the months you trained, plus the $115 Myzone. After your first year, the Myzone is yours to keep. Your membership renews for another year at the current annual rate unless you let us know 30 days before your renewal date, and we'll email you a reminder well ahead of that.

Written notice may be sent by email to matt@leapchicago.com with the subject line "Cancellation," submitted through the TeamUp member portal, or delivered as a signed written notice to a LEAP coach. Verbal cancellations do not satisfy this requirement. Any early-cancellation amounts are added to your final monthly charge. Cancellations are processed by LEAP on receipt of written notice. Your rights under the Illinois Health Club Services Act (3-day cooling-off period, death, permanent disability, and relocation more than 25 miles from the facility) apply as set out in the LEAP Membership Release and Waiver of Liability, which governs your membership. Some sessions or events may be excluded from this membership. Unless otherwise noted, this membership is non-transferable. Your payment details will be securely stored in our system for the duration of the membership.
