The postnatal course focuses on rebuilding strength and confidence after birth using floor‑based Pilates, progressive strength training and functional movement.
Across the 6 weeks we will aim to:
Gently reconnect with your deep core and pelvic floor
Improve posture and upper‑body strength for feeding, lifting and carrying
Gradually increase whole‑body strength and stamina
Help you return towards your preferred exercise safely, whether that’s gym work, classes or sport
This course is suitable from around 6 weeks post vaginal birth and 8–12 weeks post caesarean, provided you have had your routine GP check and been cleared to exercise. All exercises can be adapted for diastasis recti, pelvic floor symptoms, pelvic girdle pain or birth‑related injuries, with a strong emphasis on technique, breath and symptom‑led progression.
Babies are very welcome in the postnatal class, but for safety and space:
No crawlers or walkers please
Please bring a mat/blanket and a few toys for them to lie on
