Rehabilitation Pilates – Comprehensive Equipment Session
Our Rehabilitation Pilates Comprehensive Equipment Session is a one-to-one, physiotherapist-led exercise therapy session designed to restore optimal movement, improve function, and support recovery from injury, surgery, or musculoskeletal conditions. Each session is individually assessed and tailored to your clinical presentation, functional goals, and stage of rehabilitation.
Treatment utilises the full range of Pilates studio apparatus, including the Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, Stability Chair, and Ladder Barrels, to deliver a progressive, evidence-informed rehabilitation programme. The versatility of the equipment enables precise exercise prescription, graduated loading, and movement modification, allowing patients to develop strength, neuromuscular control, flexibility, balance, and dynamic stability in a safe and controlled environment.
Sessions may address spinal conditions, joint dysfunction, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, sports injuries, hypermobility, neurological conditions, balance impairments, and postural or movement dysfunction. Emphasis is placed on movement quality, lumbopelvic stability, proprioception, motor control, and functional movement patterns to facilitate a safe return to everyday activities, work, or sport.
Exercise programmes are continually reviewed and progressed in response to clinical outcomes, ensuring rehabilitation remains goal-oriented and appropriate throughout each stage of recovery. Rehabilitation Pilates forms an effective component of comprehensive physiotherapy management, promoting long-term musculoskeletal health, injury prevention, and improved physical function.
