Yoga studio owner, Di Wooldridge, shares how she knew TeamUp was right for her business Artemis Wellbeing

All Di Wooldridge wanted was to be able to spend time teaching her customers, and finding the right studio management software helped her do just that...and more.

How I knew TeamUp was right for my business

Hi, I'm Di, owner of Artemis Wellbeing Yoga and Pilates Rooms. It's in the beautiful countryside of Wolverhampton. So I'm here today as an avid TeamUp fan. So we introduced TeamUp into Artemis Wellbeing two years ago and it's the best thing I have ever done. So prior to working on TeamUp as a booking system, all of my class bookings were mind work, as were, class cancellations and class changes. So managing the bookings for each of the class seasons, but we've got over 20 classes a week and so it's quite a lot of class bookings that we have to deal with. It was so so manually intensive and took so much of my time.

This is the time that I wanted to be in the studio, wanted to be with my clients, teaching classes and do what I love and not sitting behind a desk or sitting by the phone taking bookings. And overnight, after the introduction of TeamUp via a trial, I very quickly moved to the booking platform with my customers. And I have to say is the best thing I've ever done. So from a customer-facing point of view, it's a really, really easy booking system to use. You can do it via an app on your phone or by desktop. So straightforward and simple, they just register as a customer. Once they're registered it's just a choice then if they want to pick and choose or memberships that they'd like to purchase all of the memberships and the subscription side of things, all payments are also taken through the booking system. It's just so incredibly super easy to use.

For me, it gave me back about 75 percent of my time. So it holds customers information for me and its GDPR all compliant, so it's super safe with our clients' information and it's just so incredibly easy to use. The next level then as we as studio owners we moved to the unfortunate situation of closing our doors for lockdown being able to transition online quickly to react to the environment that we were in and still be able to give classes to our clients who absolutely needed this facility to continue. And what turned out to be for many months was, again, so incredibly easy, so the transition to an online platform and integrating the online platform into TeamUp was just seamless.

So I work with Zoom and it's got a built integration into Zoom. So our classes are still booked in exactly the same way. It's a fantastic facility that customers can receive a link to attend class and within that link will be the link to open Zoom. Or the Zoom live class, it's just absolutely fantastic. I can't recommend it enough, and it's been, as I say, life-changing for Artemis Wellbeing.
