Follower | 4-week West Coast Swing Beginner Track

This 8 hour course taught over 4 weeks is run by Steve & Kate and is designed for newer dancers to West Coast Swing who wish to fast track their development and be comfortable to join improver and progressive classes elsewhere. We'll cover rhythm, fundamentals, transitional patterns, solo and partner technique, and there'll be a chance to ask for feedback during class. 
 

Dates: Wednesdays from 8th January until 29th January

Timings: 8-10pm 

Location: St Bons Hall, Friary Rd, Bishopston, Bristol BS7 8AF. The hall has a sprung wooden floor.

Parking: There is a free car park with up to 30 spaces, and the venue is outside the congestion zone. 

Cost: £49 per person (late bird £55 from 1st January 2025) 

Who is it for? It's for new dancers and those who need a refresher and want to work on the technique and connection of West Coast Swing without thinking as much about the steps and counting. You may also be an experienced West Coast Swing dancer in one role and wish to learn the other role. Places are offered to those first who can attend all 4 weeks. We will role-balance this programme, and rotate partners during the class. Followers may be placed on a waiting list until Leaders book on.
