A 4-week introduction
If you’re new to Pilates, starting with the foundations makes all the difference.
This 4-week beginner mat course with Beth has been designed to introduce the key principles that underpin our teaching at Lauren Hilton Pilates. Rather than rushing through exercises, you’ll focus on understanding how your body moves, helping you build strength, stability and awareness that will support you in every class that follows, and in daily life. Beyond the physical benefit you'll likely feel calmer, more centred, and more connected to your body.
Across the four weeks, you’ll learn the key Pilates fundamentals, including alignment, breathing, core support and controlled movement. Each session builds progressively, giving you the time and guidance to feel confident in the work. Guided every step of the way by Beth, our certified mat Pilates teacher and physiotherapist, ensuring a safe, informed, and personalised experience.
This course is ideal if you:
Are completely new to Pilates
Want to build confidence before joining regular classes
Prefer a thoughtful, well-guided introduction to the method
Are looking to improve strength, posture and mobility in a sustainable way
At the end of the course, you’ll have a clear pathway into our Align classes on Monday or Thursday, where you can continue developing your Pilates practice with the same approach.

Our online membership offers you 36 online mat classes over the year during our term-time timetable. This class is offered on a Monday at 6.15.
If you miss a class you can access the recording in the on-demand section of your Teamup account.
This innovative class is a step beyond traditional 1:1 sessions. In Pilates Gym, we work closely with each client, assessing your background, movement patterns, injuries, and goals to create a bespoke program.
Pilates Gym sessions are offered after you've taken a series of 1:1 sessions with Lauren to get to know your movement needs before your custom program is created. You’ll complete your individual program during an hour-long session alongside two other clients, with our full supervision and guidance.
