Intro to Pole 4 Week Beginners November Series

PSA! Please note the final class on Saturday 23rd November will take place at 9:45am - 10:45am due to a pre-arranged event. All other sessions (2nd / 9th / 16th November) will take place at 11am.

 

If you're new to Pole, or you’ve had a break, this is the perfect place for you to begin your journey and at Pivot Pole Studio we believe that strong foundations are the very essence of a great Pole Dancer and athlete! Reclaim (or discover!) your confidence, improve strength, posture, flexibility, grace, and coordination. Within this 4-week programme you will learn the very foundations that all other Pole spins, poses and tricks are built upon. Learn how to move around the Pole with precision and control with a range of graceful spins, fluid transitions, fun floorwork and strengthening exercises. As well as learning loads of fun new moves you'll have the opportunity to choreograph a fun, short routine at the end of the 4 weeks! Once you've completed the Course you'll be welcome to book into any of our Intro Progression PAYG classes, which run throughout the week (attend as many as you like!) to continue your journey with us.

This Course is suitable for: Anyone who is brand new to Pole and is looking for a safe place to explore new movement.  There are no fitness, flexibility, strength or dance prerequisites to join this class and we welcome everyBODY at any stage in their fitness or dance journey.

What to wear/ bring: Wear form fitting clothes that allow you to move. Keeping grip points like the backs of the knees, shins, and armpits bare will help for gripping, but comfort is key so we won't push you to wear anything that makes you uncomfortable.​No jewellery is permitted in class, which includes rings, watches & bracelets. stud earrings, belly bars & other piercings are fine.  Do not apply hand or body lotions, moisturisers, oils or fake tans for at least 24 hours before class as it makes the poles & you slippy. Bring water, a towel to wipe your pole, a notepad & a fully charged phone to track your progress!

✴ Bookings & Cancellations: All payments are final & wholly non-refundable. If you give more than 72 hours notice, a credit of £48 can be applied to your account to use on a future course with us, should you be unable to make it. We recommend being able to attend as many of the 4 sessions as possible. Please note there are no make up classes should you miss a session, nor can we transfer you to a different date during the term. Please use your TeamUp account to unregister from any sessions of your course you cannot make. Over 16's only.
