Couples Membership – Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Overview

The Couples Membership is offered at a cost of £64.00 per month and provides gym access for two individuals living at the same residential address.

One member will be designated as the Primary Member and will be responsible for payment. The second member will be listed as the Secondary Member.

2. Eligibility

• Both members must reside at the same household address.

• Proof of address may be requested at any time.

• The Secondary Member must be a family member or partner of the Primary Member.

• The Couples Membership cannot be shared with friends, colleagues, or individuals living at a different address.

Any misuse or false declaration may result in termination of the membership without refund.

3. Payment Terms

• The full monthly fee of £64.00 is payable by the Primary Member via direct debit or the agreed payment method.

• Payments are taken monthly on the agreed billing date.

• It is the responsibility of the Primary Member to ensure sufficient funds are available.

4. Failed Payments

• If a payment fails for any reason, both the Primary and Secondary Member accounts will be automatically suspended until payment is brought up to date.

• Access to the gym and all associated services will be denied during suspension.

• Any applicable failed payment or admin fees may apply in line with standard membership policies.

• Repeated failed payments may result in cancellation of the membership.

5. Account Access & Use

• Each member will have their own individual account and must not allow access to any other person.

• Membership access (fobs, apps, codes, etc.) is non-transferable.

• Members must comply with all gym rules, policies, and staff instructions at all times.

6. Changes to Membership

• The Secondary Member cannot be swapped or replaced without prior approval.

• If one member no longer meets eligibility requirements (e.g. change of address), the Couples Membership may be downgraded to a standard individual membership at the current rate.

7. Cancellation

• Standard membership notice periods apply (as per the gym’s general Terms & Conditions).

• If the Couples Membership is cancelled, access for both members will end at the same time.

• Partial cancellations (removing one member only) are not permitted without converting to an individual membership.

8. General

• The gym reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions with reasonable notice.

• The Couples Membership is subject to all other gym rules, policies, and codes of conduct.

• Any breach of these terms by either member may result in suspension or termination of the membership for both parties.
