Kids Camp Ages 10-12 - Theatre & Costuming

The show must go on!

Join us this year for our first theatre and costuming summer camp! Not only will your kiddo get to make their own costume, but we'll be making a small skit to be performed on the last day. You know they'll be ready to tell you all about their part and what they made after each class!

We'll be working on cutting, embellishing, customizing and sewing a costume that fits our skit with some smaller projects sprinkled in for variety and fun! All fabrics are provided by local sewists!

Days will be structured as follows:

1:00pm - welcome and start the project (I'll meet you downstairs in the lobby at 1pm)

2:45pm - break

3:00pm - continue project

3:45pm - finish and pack up

4:00pm - pick up

Please make sure they bring a water bottle and a snack if they would like one. If it's a nice day we may take a bit of outside time if we need to burn off some energy. Definitely kids should be expecting to sit most of the camp as we'll be at sewing machines.  We'll have a summer student assisting.

Fabric and notions are included. Minimum 4 students: maximum 6 students.
