Mandala Yoga Workshop with Zoe Speekenbrink
Come and experience the beautifully meditative and creative practice of Mandala Yoga.
Mandala vinyasa is a yoga practice based on the four elements: earth, water, fire and air. Mandala is a circular figure and so the Mandala vinyasa practice takes us in circular motions around the mat. In the next Mandala workshop we will be focussing on the element of water. The workshop will include an introduction to Mandala vinyasa and the Water element, pranayama (breath work), a dynamic asana practice (sequenced postures) and will close with restorative/yin. We’ll also have time to delve a bit deeper into some postures.
This practice takes you into a beautiful moving meditation, combining movement, focus and breath as we move around the mat.
Suitable for anyone with a regular yoga practice who would like to try something new and enjoys creative and dynamic movement and sequencing.
