Yin Yang Yoga with Mindfulness

A course which combines the classical elements of a contemplative, transformative yoga practice - dynamic flow (yang), passive floor poses (yin), seated mindfulness meditation and deep relaxation. Each week we will explore an aspect of mindfulness: breath awareness, embodied awareness, mindfulness of emotions and mindfulness of thoughts. We will finish the course with metta practice (lovingkindness). This course is suitable for anyone with basic experience in yoga who is interested in maintaining a strong physical practice while deepening their meditation practice. It’s also an opportunity to work with Sophie Carr, senior teacher, mindfulness trainer and co-owner of the Stables.
