Handstand Masterclass

Handstands can teach us confidence, courage, focus and also patience; not to mention... they are a whole load of fun. Expect intelligent high energy in this workshop with lots of interaction and opportunities to play with the techniques.
This workshop is designed to work from the basics of handstands up. We will focus on opening, strengthening and conditioning for the handstand, as this can determine our ability to enter and hold the posture. We will work through various drills and techniques, both with and without props, to eventually prepare us for the vertical line. Falling will be addressed, how to face our fears of falling out of a handstand safely. Holding a handstand only comes with hours of practice, so the aim of this workshop is to help us start the voyage into finding some 'airtime'.
