Intro to Inversions with Chloe McKay + Sophie Carr

Shoulderstand, Handstand and Headstand - for people who want to, but perhaps have never dared. And believe us, inversions are fun!

As a participant in a previous inversions course can testify, when she proclaimed: “I’m 62, I’ve never done a handstand before and here I am upside down in a doorway!”. Topsy-turvy poses are an integral part of a yoga practice, but we rarely learn them in weekly classes. So come and discover the benefits and wonders of going upside down. We’ll explore how to do them safely, using props, walls, and doorways. You’ll be in a small group so we can guide you individually and encourage you to experiment with what you can manage - no crazy stuff, just basic and safe.
