Snowplow Sam (WITHOUT parent/guardian on ice, ages 3-5)| 9 WEEKS | FALL 2026 | 5:30-6:20pm

Snowplow Sam (without parent/guardian on ice, 3-5yrs) is for children with limited skating experience. These classes are designed to help children 3 - 5 years old develop the ABC's of movement: agility, balance, coordination and speed. The ABC's are essential for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. All classes will be taught in a safe and positive environment, incorporating fun and games making class time an enjoyable experience for all. Get acquainted with the ice, standing and shuffling. The Snowplow Sam level includes 4 levels ranging from falling down and standing up and moving forward on the ice up to skating backwards and backwards swizzles. Students will be divided into the appropriate Snowplow Sam group depending upon their skating experience.

Please note that parents / guardians do NOT attend this class. 

***IF YOUR CHILD HAS SKATING EXPERIENCE, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR CHILD'S LAST PASSED LEVEL IN YOUR REGISTRATION! ***

ALL SKATERS MUST HAVE A HELMET. A HECC certified hockey helmet with a full face cage is highly recommended. Skaters must have an active Learn to Skate USA membership account before the first day of class.  LESSON FORMAT: 5 minute free skate, 40 minute lesson time, 5 minute free skate 

REFUND POLICY: Please note there are NO refunds or make up classes. 

SKATES & HELMET POLICY: All skaters must bring their own skates and helmet (helmet optional for adults accompanying skaters). Skate rentals are currently NOT available!
