Snowplow Sam (WITHOUT parent/guardian on ice, ages 4-6) Must Skate Independently | 5 WEEKS | SUMMER 2026

Snowplow Sam (without parent/guardian on ice, 4-6yrs) is for children who have little skating experience, but can skate independently. Skaters must be able to skate forward and fall down / stand up on their own. These classes are designed to help children 4-6 years old develop the ABC's of movement: agility, balance, coordination and speed. The ABC's are essential for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. All classes will be taught in a safe and positive environment, incorporating fun and games making class time an enjoyable experience for all. Get acquainted with the ice, standing and shuffling. The Snowplow Sam level includes 4 levels ranging from falling down and standing up and moving forward on the ice up to skating backwards and backwards swizzles. Please note that parents / guardians do NOT attend this class. This class will focus on Snowplow Sam levels 2-4.

*** PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR CHILD'S LAST PASSED LEVEL AND/OR SKATING EXPERIENCE IN YOUR REGISTRATION! ***

ALL SKATERS MUST HAVE A HELMET. A HECC certified hockey helmet with a full face cage is highly recommended.

***MEMBERSHIPS ARE VALID FROM JULY 1ST - JUNE 30TH. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PURCHASE YOUR MEMBERSHIP AFTER JUNE 30th. PUT 000 IN THE REGISTRATION IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP, AND EMAIL US YOUR NEW MEMBERSHIP AFTER JUNE 30th!

LESSON FORMAT: 5 minute free skate, 45 minute lesson time, 10 minute free skate

REFUND POLICY: Please note there are NO refunds or make up classes.

SKATES & HELMET POLICY: All skaters must bring their own skates and helmet. Skate rentals are NOT available!
