The SAMA Experience

An epic weekend dive into SAMA, the iconic work by Andrea Miller performed by GALLIM in the 2024 Fall for Dance Festival at City Center. Start the day with GALLIM Methods and then immerse yourself into the world of SAMA, awakening your senses, pushing your physical range and stamina to new places, and plugging into a primal pulse of movement. SAMA is a glimpse at a tangible universe where individuals have a space to express themselves and transcend through movement.

There are essential, ambiguous and complex elements of our humanity that we can only be accessed through our physical experience. Forget conventional, oversimplifying or automated rules of reasoning. Eligibility: 

Open to all professional and pre-professional dancers ages 16+ who have a strong interest in training in GALLIM methods and GALLIM repertory by Andrea Miller. This weekend experience includes rigorous physical training and studies in class and repertoire.

12:45-2:00 SAMA Coaching

Tuition: $200
