Half Marathon Club
Here we go!! It's getting to that time of year to start thinking about your half marathon and how you are going to train and be confident as you stand in the start line.
Our Half Marathon Club has been going for a few years now and for those of you who are new to this distance, or just hate training alone, it's a great way to have structure and purpose to your training whilst sharing your runs with other runners
What is half marathon club?
Half Marathon Club is a training plan for you, that also connects you with other half marathoners to help educate, motivate and support you in your training.
Having a peer group that is going through the same highs and lows in training will help to keep you accountable and working towards your goals.
You will have Lynette, as your coach, as well as other experienced runners to guide you, to answer your questions, give you advice and bring the team together for weekly run sessions.
Half marathon training no longer has to be a long and lonely road.

3-4 runs per week
1-2 at-home /gym strength training
Training app with video demos that connects to your watch or Strava
Whatsapp group to connect you with other half marathoners
Fuelling and nutrition advice/info
Dynamic warm ups and recovery stretching
Race day prep
Regular check-ins with your coach, Lynette

Start Dates
The course is 12 weeks and will start on Monday 4th March and finish on Sunday 26th May for the Edinburgh Half Marathon.
Your training plan will start on Monday 4th March and you will have access to your training plan through our Final Surge App.
Our Group Sessions will be on Tuesday evenings at 18:30, meeting at Little King Street at the back of the St. James Quarter (Omni side). The first group session will be on Tuesday 5th March and we will send you more details once you have signed up.
The group sessions are not essential but if you can manage at least a few, it's a great way to meet other runners and also ask questions about the training plan.
