Aerial Hammock Choreography (Int/Adv) with Kevin Holland (for ages 13 to adult)

For intermediate/advanced aerialists ages 13 to adult. If you love to roll, drop, and flow on the hammock, this workshop is for you! Come and learn how to connect sequences and smooth out transitions on the hammock. Starting with a warm-up focusing on body alignment, we will then go over special tips to make positions easier in the air, and then learn a couple moves to sequence together using the hammock.

Prerequisites: Must be able to invert without jumping, pullup and pullover, and one dive roll on hammock

Please wear something that covers backs of knees and shoulders, and bring lots of water!


About Kevin Holland:

Head choreographer for Nathalie Gauthier’s Le Petit Cirque, Kevin Holland is an aerialist, dancer, and choreographer specializing in artistic act creation. He has taught aerial workshops and created acts for students of all ages for over a decade. In 2022, he graduated with his BFA in dance from Cal State Long Beach. Kevin has performed his aerial chains number on the national US tour for Vampire Circus, Santa Circus in Miami, FL and for Terry Beeman’s Mental Head Circus. He also is dancing for DIAVOLO: Architecture in Motion – TRUST show throughout Los Angeles county, and his own choreography has been commissioned by dance companies throughout California.
