This Membership Type is for Land Acknowledgment- A proud grass rooted program, The Workshop and Team 1848 pays homage to when the U.S. territory was admitted to the union as the state of Wisconsin in 1848. However, the Workshop facility exists upon lands ceded from the Menominee Tribe to the Oneida Nation. We acknowledge this land we stand and grow on together today as sacred and significant to the Menominee and Oneida Nations. We recognize these regions as being the ancestral homes of Indigenous Peoples since before recorded history and acknowledge our committed relationship to Indigenous Peoples.
