DESCRIPTION:

Discover the TAKI FIT's  9U Coed Little Hooper League, a dynamic program designed for boys and girls 1st-3rd grade who are beginning their basketball journey! Our season consists of 7 sessions. Each session combines targeted skill development, game strategy, and teamwork in a supportive, faith-based environment. Players will enjoy 20 minutes of focused instruction followed by fun, competitive games in formats ranging from 3v3 to 5v5 (depending on sign ups). Beyond building athletic skills, this league fosters character and spiritual growth, as we share with athletes The Word of God each week—register early to secure the best rate and help your young athlete thrive mentally, physically, and spiritually.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

7, 20 mins skill work & game preparation

WHEN: 1/31-3/14 every Saturday 1:45pm-3:15pm. Game times stay the same every week!

1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14

1st Game Day players arrive 1:00pm for Jersey Pickup and 1:15pm if you already have a jersey. Following games players arrive 1:30pm.

SPECTATORS

Are encouraged to bring their own chairs for comfort

GAME: Full court (side baskets) 8.5ft rims. 5 minute running periods, 8 periods. 1 minute half. 45 seconds in between quarters. 1 minute half time. Score is kept. No time outs. Equal playing time. Teams up 10+ points must keep 1 foot in the key on defense and cannot press. (3v3, 4v4, 5v5, depending on skill level and registrations)

FOULS

Common Fouls: +1 and ball back to fouled team

Shooting Fouls: +1 and 1 free throw to fouled team. Fouled on 3 pointer = +2 and 1 free throw to fouled team

Technical Foul (Deemed unsportsmanlike in nature): +2 points to fouled team and ball back, player who received the technical foul must sit for the rest for period and following period. If a player receives 2 technicals in a game, that player will be out for the rest of the game.

-If a player must sit for 2 games, they will not be able to play for the rest of the league without refund.
