DESCRPITION:

This league is a developmental league that is best for boys and girls who are beginners or have some experience playing basketball and are 6yo-9yo. Our league focuses on encouraging, developing, and progressing athletes each week to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually in an environment that is fun and safe!

TAKI FIT will provide 30 mins of skill and development training that progresses each week before games. Throughout the league, we will share with teams The Word of God as we highlight different themes throughout the league to teach teams how to play and navigate life with God.

WHEN: 10/5-11/23 every Saturday 2:45pm-4:15pm. Game times stay the same every week!

GAME RULES: Full court (side rims) 8.5ft rims. 5 minute running periods, 8 periods. 1 minute half time. No timeouts. Equal playing time. Mercy rules: up 10 no pressing, up 20+ foot in the key. Common fouls = +1 and ball back. Shooting fouls = +1 and 1 free throw. Technical = +2, ball back, and player must sit for the remaining period and following period. 2 Technicals player will be out for the game. Flagrant Foul (unnecessary and/or excessive contact occurs) +2 pts, ball back, and player who received flagrant foul will sit for the rest of the game. If a player is asked to sit for 2 games due to technical/flagrant fouls, player will be suspended from the league without refund.
