Q: What's a chipper?
A: Chippers are general fitness challenge workouts, w/ a 40 minute time cap, to assess your overall general Strength & Conditioning. Think squats, cleans, push presses, carries, burpees, abs, bodyweight movements, cardio...
Q: Do I have to do the other Sundasport programming to be prepared for a chipper workout?
A: Nope! If you strength train properly and often, you are prepared for our chippers.
Q: What equipment do I need for a chipper?
A: 1-2 kettlebells (or dumbbells)
Q: Who can do a chipper?
A: Anyone who's in decent shape, whether you've been using kettlebells often or not!
Q: When are chipper days?
A: Friday! And Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays around US holidays. And then there's the pop-up events! Expect 60-70 chipper workouts per year, each repeats annually.
Q: When are chipper workouts announced?
A: 12:00 am on the day they're scheduled.
Q: I am a little nervous even though I'm in shape. Can I do this?
A: You bet. It's a light, chill, fun environment. There are modified, intermediate, and advanced options.
Q: What else do I need to know?
A: We use Boxmate, a workout tracking app from the UK, and they're the best on Earth at what they do!
A: Earn badges right on the app, give a fellow member a fire emoji for a great effort, share a screenshot of your chipper PR to social media, message a coach, or opt in or out of the leaderboard. Your Boxmate experience is up to you!
