Falmouth's SU Pole Society - Intro to inverting course

Class details:
This 1 hour pole session is reserved for Falmouth SU pole society members only. Ready to turn your world upside down? This course is perfect for those new to going upside down on the pole. You’ll learn the fundamentals of safe and controlled inverts, understanding the strength and technique needed to lift off the ground, and start exploring basic upside-down shapes. No prior inverting experience is required, but students must be able to lift their knees above their elbows when in the basic invert position, without needing to use any kicking momentum to get there. Not sure what that looks like? Ask the SU team for a quick demo or for more info! You’re also welcome to join if you already know the foundations and would like to revisit them to refine your technique, or if you can already invert confidently. If you fall into the latter category, please let the SU team know your current level so they can inform the Alissium instructor and plan the lesson accordingly.

Pricing:
Our 4 week courses costs £40, with 1 hour classes each week.

All classes require a minimum number of students to run, so if you’d like your favourite class to go ahead, be sure to book early. This helps us plan and confirm class numbers in advance.

T’s & C’s:

Please avoid using moisturiser or lotion on the day of your class, as it can make the poles slippery. Remember to bring a drink to stay hydrated, and ensure all jewellery and watches are removed before the class begins.
