Terms and conditionsPole Position Membership Terms & Conditions
Membership Payments
Membership fees are collected monthly via Direct Debit and are due on the 1st of each month unless otherwise stated.
The first payment may be prorated according to the number of days remaining in the billing period.
Members are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method for the duration of their membership.
Membership Benefits
Memberships may entitle the holder to discounted or included classes, events, workshops, or services as specified by their membership package.
Pole Position reserves the right to exclude certain classes, workshops, events, courses, private lessons, or services from membership benefits.
Non-Transferable Memberships
Memberships are personal to the named member and may not be shared, transferred, assigned, sold, exchanged, or converted into credit for any other Pole Position service, including private lessons, workshops, courses, events, merchandise, or alternative services unless expressly agreed by Pole Position.
Membership Cancellation
Memberships may be cancelled through the TeamUp cancellation process.
A minimum of 30 days' notice before the next billing date is required when cancelling a membership.
Cancelling or removing a Direct Debit mandate or payment method does not constitute cancellation of a membership.
Membership fees will continue to fall due until the membership has been properly cancelled through TeamUp and the required notice period has been satisfied.
Failed Payments
Where a membership payment cannot be collected, the membership fee remains payable.
A £5 administration charge will be applied for each failed payment collection cycle that reaches maximum retry attempts, in line with GoCardless payment terms.
Pole Position reserves the right to recover any outstanding membership fees, failed payment charges, and associated costs incurred as a result of unsuccessful payment collection.
Suspended & Failed Memberships
Memberships with overdue payments may automatically enter a failed, suspended, or on-hold status.
Whilst in this status, Pole Position reserves the right to:
- Cancel existing bookings
- Restrict future bookings
- Withdraw membership benefits
- Refuse access to classes, workshops, events, courses, private lessons, and other services
Suspension of a membership does not remove the member's responsibility to pay any outstanding balance.
Outstanding Balances
Any outstanding membership fees, failed payment charges, or other sums due remain payable following suspension, cancellation, expiry, or termination of a membership.
Members with outstanding balances may not reactivate memberships, attend classes, make bookings, access membership benefits, or participate in services until all outstanding amounts have been settled in full and a valid payment method has been reinstated.
Pole Position Rights
Pole Position reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or terminate memberships where payment obligations have not been met or where members fail to comply with these terms and conditions.
