The ‘Soma’ – our body-mind-energy system is always seeking to find a perfect
balance of strength and flexibility, a mental state in equilibrium and a clear, smooth,
flowing life-force energy. Overall when we are in health our bodies feel in a
harmonious flow of ease and vitality.
In this Introductory course you will explore sequences of movement, held postures,
breath and focused mind activity all designed to get you in touch with your unique
vehicle from the inside out.
Classic Pilates principles of core stability, alignment, focused concentration form the
scaffold of the classes on which we build dynamic strength, flexibility and confidence
to perform all the functional tasks life demands.
All levels welcome but those new to Pilates are especially encouraged to attend.
