Mid range stringing is 55lbs in tension, if you go softer than that it gives you more power but less feel, more than that gives less power and more feel. Multifiliment strings break more but give you a better feel, poly strings give more durability, synthetic gut gives you a feel but isn't very durable, you can create a hybrid string which offers both durability and feel.
