Twist your way into the weekend with Duncan’s Spirals & Rotation workshop. Rotation is a foundation for human movement and essential for efficient and injury-preventive function. Bodies are full of spiral structures, from DNA to muscles and fascia. Even bones are non-linear; the femur has a natural spiral shape to allow optimal force transmission when walking. The spine is a dynamic spiral structure that rotates and counter-rotates. Training with a rotational focus promotes multi-directional and effortless motion. It significantly fires trunk muscles (abdominals, obliques, back) and promotes spinal mobility, stability and an easy, natural posture. Rid your bodies of stiffness from desk-time (or couch-time!) and be prepared to move on your mat! Workshops must be booked in advance and are subject to minimum and maximum client numbers.
