Forrest Yoga for Beginners: A Four-Week Journey with Natalie
Welcome to a transformative four-week journey designed to help you reconnect with yourself through the principles of Forrest Yoga. Each week, we’ll dive into a different aspect of our practice to cultivate deeper body awareness and strength.
Week 1: Breath
In this first week, we’ll focus on using our breath to truly come home to our bodies. We’ll explore and embody grounding techniques, access our deep core, and learn to release any unnecessary tension in poses for example in the neck. This practice will not only benefit you on the mat but also in your daily life.
Week 2: Integrity
The second week is all about having the courage to listen to the subtle stories our bodies tell us. We’ll learn to feel deeply without seeking external approval, embracing every layer of tension as part of our journey. Thus beginning a journey of moving with integrity.
Week 3: Spirit
In week three, we connect with the concept of the “Warrior’s Choice,” learning how to choose the energy we carry within us and allowing this to guide our practise. This week is about embodying spirit and embracing our inner strength.
Week 4: Strength
The final week is all about authenticity and integrating body and mind. We’ll incorporate slightly stronger poses to solidify everything we’ve learned and step into our most authentic selves.
