Sound Meditation

Joshua's sound meditations include conversations around sound, spirituality, and consciousness, followed by breathing excersizes, guided visualization, and a soundscape consisting of instruments such as gong, singing bowls, chimes, and other overtone emitting instruments, followed by a unified space for sharing our experiences. Through judicious listening, we create a supportive space for deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and an opportunity to discover the inner healer within one's self.
"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." - Helen Keller

About Joshua

Joshua, a sound facilitator and life coach, studied with NYC's Woom Center completing a 200 hour Sound School. Over the years, he has worked with and received guidance under world-renowned sound researcher and ethnomusicologist, Alexandre Tennous, and other facilitators, professors, and doctors from around the globe studying the effects sound has on the brain and body. He also is a RYT 200 yoga teacher who studied with Kristen Boccumini in 2016 and taught with Yoga Lab upon the first opening year. During this time, he sat with Mark Agrusti and the Yoga Lab team diving deeper into mindfulness and meditation practices. You may also find Joshua cooking up meals for communities, serving Cacao in intentional circles, playing guitar, singing songs, and giving hugs to those open to receive.
