Intro to Mindfulness Meditation Workshop (OUTDOORS)

Join Yoga Lab co-founder Jeremy Engels, Ph.D., E-RYT500, YACEP for a special 4-week workshop series introducing mindfulness practices!


Curious about mindfulness? Hoping to relieve stress and find more joy in your life? Want to put down your phone and be more present for the things that really matter? Then this course is for you! Led by Penn State Professor and certified yoga/meditation teacher Jeremy Engels, this four week series series will introduce you to seated and walking meditation practices (not asana) and will provide you with a strong foundation for beginning your mindfulness journey. This workshop also qualifies for Yoga Alliance continuing education hours for yoga teachers. 

Dates: Sunday mornings - July 10, 17, 24, 31
Time: 8:30-9:30am
Capacity: Limited to 12 Participants. Please plan to attend all 4 sessions.
Price: $40 for 4 weeks


Meet at Hunter's Chase Park (right behind Jeremy & Anna's house). You can park in front Jeremy & Anna's house at 152 Harvest Run Rd N, State College PA 16801 and walk through their backyard to the park. 

Bring with you:

We will be practicing on the park lawn, so bring a yoga mat or cushion or chair to sit on. Also bring your own water bottle and sunscreen. Sunny and shaded areas are available.
