Core Compass is a restorative and educational movement retreat designed to help participants rebuild efficient core and pelvic floor function while exploring how stress and overfunctioning patterns shape the body and daily life.

Many people rely on compensatory strategies such as bracing, holding tension, over-efforting, or disconnecting from core support—especially during periods of stress, caregiving, postpartum recovery, or major life transitions. Over time, these patterns can contribute to fatigue, physical strain, and a diminished sense of internal stability.

Through functional movement, science-informed yoga, nervous system regulation, and reflective practice, participants will learn to identify these patterns and begin creating more sustainable ways of moving, responding, and living.

A central focus of the retreat is re-establishing healthy core and pelvic floor coordination as part of a larger system of whole-body support. Movement practices, education, and self-reflection are woven throughout the weekend to help participants improve functional support, reduce unnecessary tension, and reconnect with their own inner resources.

This retreat is especially relevant for those experiencing:
• Postpartum recovery and core/pelvic floor rebuilding
• Chronic stress or overfunctioning patterns
• Life transitions affecting energy, identity, or physical stability
• A desire to align movement habits with greater well-being

Participants will leave with:
• Improved awareness of compensatory movement and stress patterns
• Better functional core and pelvic floor coordination
• Practical tools for nervous system regulation
• Greater insight into personal patterns of overfunctioning
• A realistic plan for integrating these practices into daily life

Core Compass is an opportunity to reconnect with the body's natural support systems and cultivate greater resilience, clarity, and ease.
