TERMS AND CONDITIONS: RODNEY FITNESS CENTRE
Rodney Fitness Centre, 35 Dundee Road, Perth, PH2 7AA (“we” or “us”).

1. Agreement
Please read this agreement carefully. It forms the legal relationship between us and provides essential information regarding your classes. By ticking the box ‘I agree to the terms and conditions’ on our booking platform, this document constitutes our formal agreement.

2. Your Health
We are not medical professionals and cannot advise on whether you should participate in classes. If you have any concerns regarding your health, you must consult a medical professional before joining. You must notify us of any medical conditions or concerns prior to starting. We reserve the right to require you to leave a class if we have concerns about your health or ability to participate safely. You agree that you are participating voluntarily and accept the risks of personal injury or illness associated with physical exercise.

3. Suitable Attire & Gym Rules
You must wear suitable fitness attire. We reserve the right to refuse entry if your attire is inappropriate. The following rules apply:

Smoking/Vaping: Prohibited anywhere on the premises.

Mobile Phones: Prohibited during class, except for urgent calls.

Children: No children under 16 years are permitted. Children of any age are not allowed on the gym floor unless booked into a dedicated, supervised session.

Animals: Prohibited (except for registered guide dogs).

Food/Drink: Only water is permitted on the gym floor; no food or other drinks.

Conduct: You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any disruption to classes may result in your removal without a refund.

4. Classes and Scheduling
Duration: Classes are scheduled between 30 and 90 minutes.

Booking: All schedules are maintained on the TeamUp App.

Changes: We reserve the right to change timetables, instructors, or venues. We will provide as much notice as possible but are not liable to provide refunds for such changes.

Contact Info: It is your responsibility to keep your email and contact details updated on TeamUp. We do not receive automatic notifications of profile changes; please notify us manually at info@rodneyfitnesscentre.com.

5. Location
All classes take place at Rodney Fitness Centre, 35 Dundee Road, Perth, PH2 7AA unless otherwise specified.

6. Punctuality and Attendance
Please arrive early. If you arrive late, the class cannot continue past the scheduled end time, and no refund will be provided. Places in classes are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another person.

7. Health Questionnaire
You must complete a health questionnaire honestly and completely before your first class and update it if your circumstances change.

8. Cancellations (Pay-As-You-Go / Blocks)
To cancel a class without forfeiting the session or fee, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice via the TeamUp App. This is the only valid channel for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or "no-shows" will be charged the full rate.

9. Monthly Membership Cancellations
Cancellation of monthly membership payments requires a minimum of 30 days' notice before your next billing date. If notice is received less than 30 days before the next payment, that final payment will be processed, and your membership will remain active until the end of that paid period. We do not provide partial refunds for processed payments.

10. Fees and Expiry
All payments are due in advance. We will not proceed with a session (1-to-1) or allow entry (Group) until funds have cleared. Class blocks have an expiry date; sessions not used within the specified timeframe will be forfeited without a refund.

11. Personal Belongings
You are responsible for the safety of your personal belongings. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or destruction of items brought onto the premises.

12. Intellectual Property
We own all rights to the materials and content used within our classes. You may not copy, reproduce, or share any of our materials with third parties. You may not make audio or visual recordings of classes without our express written consent.

13. Liability
Nothing in this agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

We exclude all other warranties and representations to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We are not liable for loss of profits, business, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability is limited to the total price paid by you for classes in the 12 months preceding any claim.

14. General
Waiver: Failure to enforce any part of this agreement does not constitute a waiver of our rights.

Severability: If any part of these terms is found to be invalid by a court, the rest of the terms remain in effect.

Governing Law: This agreement is governed by Scottish Law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.

This membership bills every month. Payment for the first partial period will be prorated according to the days remaining in the period. This membership entitles the purchaser to a full or partial discount on events/classes offered by the business. Some classes/events may be excluded from this membership. Unless otherwise noted, this membership is non-transferable. Your payment details will be securely stored in our system for the duration of the membership.
